You'll be an integral part of our team, prepping, cooking, and plating dishes with a smile. If you're a dedicated, enthusiastic, and organized individual who loves to prepare and cook delicious food in a family oriented, fun loving community setting , then you're exactly who we're looking for.
Responsibilities
- Prepares food in accordance with the planned menu.
- Record accurate temperatures.
- Follow the cooking schedule to ensure food will be ready at specified times.
- Set up and operate equipment for daily food preparation.
- Provide clean and sanitized dishes and utensils for residents.
- Maintain high standards of personal cleanliness and hygiene.
- Scrape, wash, and put away dishes.
- Follow proper safety protocol.
- Other duties assigned by the manager as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience cooking in a facility of 50+ residents.
- Ability to bend, twist, stand and walk for required shifts.
- Must have current Safe Serv Food Handler's certification or willing to receive.
- Apply basic skills and may develop skills appropriate for the position.
- Requires knowledge of all kitchen equipment.
