Are you a seasoned Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a knack for navigating the complexities of tax accounting? Do you have a passion for helping businesses and individuals optimize their tax strategies and ensure compliance? If so, we have an exhilarating opportunity for you. We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Consulting Part-Time CPA to join our team during the busy tax season. This role is perfect for a professional with a strong background in tax accounting, tax preparation, tax planning, income tax, audit and tax, and corporate tax returns.

Responsibilities:

As our Consulting Part-Time CPA, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Providing expert tax planning and preparation services for corporations, S corps, and individuals, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
2. Conducting thorough reviews of income tax returns to identify potential issues and recommend optimal tax strategies.
3. Managing and facilitating IRS income tax audits, responding to inquiries, and resolving any discrepancies.
4. Preparing corporate tax returns, ensuring accurate reporting and timely submission.
5. Providing insightful tax planning advice to clients, helping them make informed financial decisions and optimize their tax positions.
6. Staying abreast of the latest changes in tax laws and regulations to provide the most current advice to clients.
7. Collaborating with clients to understand their business operations and provide tailored tax solutions.
8. Assisting in the development and implementation of tax strategies and policies that align with business goals.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Consulting Part-Time CPA position will have the following qualifications:

1. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on tax planning, tax preparation, income tax, audit and tax, and corporate tax returns.
3. Extensive experience working with corporations, S corps, and individuals.
4. Proficiency in using tax preparation and accounting software.
5. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret tax laws and regulations and apply them to client situations.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
7. A detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
8. A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
