Keep assigned areas in the safest possible condition at all times.
Look for and identify hazardous, unsafe and unhealthy conditions that may exist in the building.
Have the well being of the students, employees, and visitors in mind at all times.
Take immediate and appropriate action related to any unsafe conditions that may exist in the building by eliminating the problem or reporting it to the lead person or supervisor.
Essential Job Functions:
Perform all cleaning tasks associated with the assigned run.
Demonstrate ability to meet district standards for cleaning.
Work cooperatively with building staff in setting up for various building uses.
Maintain tools and equipment according to manufacturers recommendations.
Secure building/area as needed.
Marginal Job Functions:
Perform minor maintenance duties including but not limited to replacement of lights/ballasts and minor plumbing repairs.
Perform grounds keeping duties including but not limited to mowing, trimming, weeding and snow removal.
Perform such other duties as may be assigned consistent with the position of Custodian III.

Constantly: Including but not limited to; bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, twisting, reaching, grasping and walking.

Some or all movements may be repetitive and include overhead work.
