About the Role:
Love My Bilingual Angels, GFD in Ridgewood, NY is looking for a warm, nurturing Part Time Daycare Assistant to join our team! Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities and play
• Support bilingual learning by encouraging communication in both languages
• Assist with daily routines including meals, nap time, and hygiene
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized daycare
• Communicate positively with parents and guardians during drop-off and pick-up
• Assist lead teachers with lesson plans and structured learning activities
• Monitor children's behavior and development, reporting concerns to supervisors

Requirements:

• Prior experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or other language) strongly preferred
• Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with young children
• Ability to pass a background check and meet state childcare requirements
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• High school diploma or equivalent required; ECE coursework a plus
