Part Time Deli-Team Member

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Deli Team Member. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service, as well as experience in food preparation and handling. As a Deli Team Member, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality deli products, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a positive experience for our customers.Duties and responsibilities:Prepare and serve a variety of deli products, including sandwiches, salads, and hot food items.Follow established recipes and guidelines to maintain consistent food quality.Assist customers in making deli product selections and provide information about ingredients and dietary considerations.Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of food products to maintain freshness and safety standards.Maintain a clean and organized deli counter and work area, including regular sanitization of surfaces and equipment.Monitor and manage deli inventory, restocking items as needed and rotating products to minimize waste.Collaborate with other team members to fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately.Uphold food safety standards and follow health department regulations.Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.Follow company policies and procedures, including time and attendance guidelines.Other duties as assignedQualifications:Previous experience in a deli or food service role is preferred.Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and maintaining accurate records.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Positive attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move objects up to 30 pounds.
