Responsibilities

Provide preventive dental care, including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and periodontal maintenance
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and treatment options
Take digital x-rays and maintain accurate patient records
Administer local anesthetic
Collaborate with the dentist and dental team to ensure optimal patient care
Maintain sterilization and infection control standards

Qualifications

Current California Dental Hygienist License in good standing
CPR certification (required)
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality care
A positive, team-oriented attitude
