Our vibrant team at Redwood Dental in Shelby is expanding, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic professional to join us! With over 20 years of serving the Shelby community, our office is known for its warm, family-like atmosphere and commitment to exceptional patient care.

Job Description:

• Provide preventive dental care, periodontal therapy, and routine cleanings
• Perform oral health assessments and screenings
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Educate and motivate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and healthy lifestyle habits
• Collaborate closely with our dentists and clinical team to deliver seamless patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards

Requirements:

• Current Michigan RDH license
• Local Anesthetic and Nitrous Oxide certification

• A hygienist who is confident in their skills and abilities
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain periodontal disease and oral health to patients
• Someone who can maximize appointment time while delivering thorough, high-quality care
• Comfort in educating patients and presenting findings to the doctor
• A professional who can help build a productive hygiene schedule while ensuring patients receive the care they need

Schedule:

• Fridays & Saturdays are mandatory
• Choose 1-2 additional days from the remaining schedule:
  • Monday: 8 AM - 6 PM
  • Tuesday: 8 AM - 7 PM
  • Wednesday: 8 AM - 6 PM
  • Thursday: 8 AM - 6 PM
