The Shelter Advocate is responsible for providing crisis intervention, direct service, and systems advocacy for individuals residing in a domestic violence shelter setting. It is expected that the Shelter Advocates’ job performance will incorporate the practice and promotion of Family Pathways' guiding principles: trust, collaboration, communication, integrity, respect, positivity and creativity.

Family Pathways support services provide healthy food access, domestic and sexual violence prevention and victim services, supervised visitation, and services for older adults and caregivers.
