Part-Time Driver/Valet

As a Driver/ Service Valet, you play an important role at Norm Reeves Ford. You help create a great experience for our guests along with our fleet department. This role is primarily road-based and responsible for delivering and picking up vehicles for fleet and service customers, while also assisting on-site as needed.

What You’ll Do:

• Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly, upbeat attitude, answers their questions, and direct them to the appropriate person or location
• Controls service traffic flow and parking
• Records customer’s name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage
• Assists service advisors when needed
• Maintains a clean and safe service drive area, free of dirt, water, leaves, snow, etc.
• Maintains a professional appearance
• Tag keys and place mirror tags in all vehicles
• Move vehicles to appointed parking area and ensure all windows are up and all vehicles are locked
• Fill in for shuttle drivers as needed
• Bring customers’ vehicles to the front of service drive when directed
• Ensure customers’ vehicle is free of dirt and grease from their service visit
• Guides vehicles through the car wash
• Light lifting duties when needed

What You’ll Need:

• Full time availability. You’ll also need to be at least 18 years old
• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Experience driving a range of vehicles; manual transmission a plus.
• Comfortable driving larger vehicles and various makes/models
• Strong sense of accountability
• Ability to lift light to moderate weight and work both indoors and outdoors
• Excellent communication and a positive attitude
