ProJeCt of Easton, a mission-driven nonprofit in Easton, PA, is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Early Childhood Education Teacher to join our Early Childhood Education and Family Literacy team. In this rewarding role, you will plan and implement developmentally appropriate, literacy-rich learning experiences that support children's cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language development while strengthening family engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver play-based, literacy-focused lessons aligned with Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards
  • Conduct developmental screenings, observations, and assessments; maintain accurate documentation
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners
  • Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, rest, and outdoor play
  • Support Interactive Literacy Activities (ILA) and collaborate with Adult Education and Family Literacy staff
  • Maintain compliance with DHS licensing, Keystone STARS, CACFP, and PDE Family Literacy requirements
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and continuous quality improvement

What You Bring:

  • Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with young children in ECE, preschool, childcare, Head Start, or family literacy settings (preferred)
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and actively engage with children indoors and outdoors
