Job Description ---------------
Woodland Community College is actively searching for a diverse pool of highly qualified candidates to fill part-time faculty Adjunct teaching positions. These opportunities are available on an ongoing basis to meet the evolving needs of the college. Prospective applicants can expect to be contacted and hired throughout the year in response to the institutions specific instructional requirements. The adjunct pools remain open year-round and are routinely refreshed every two years to ensure an updated and dynamic group of potential educators.

The Yuba Community College District is seeking qualified candidates for this part-time temporary Adjunct faculty position. Part-time instructor positions are filled as needed through ongoing recruitment. Applicants are contacted and hired year-round based on college needs. This pool is open continuously and refreshed every two years.
Applicants in this pool will remain active for two years. After two years, applicants will receive an email with information on how to remain in the pool.

Education Code §87408.6 states that no person shall be initially employed by a community college district in an academic or classified position unless the person has submitted to an examination within the past sixty (60) days to determine that he/she is free of active tuberculosis.
As a condition of employment, the position you are applying for will require that you provide fingerprints to the local police department. The fees charged by the Department of Justice DOJ and FBI for the fingerprint report are the employees responsibility. Fingerprint clearance must be received prior to the employees first day on the job.
