NOTICE OF POSITION OPENING

PART-TIME EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT

Position: Unity School District is currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Educational

Assistant starting with the 2026-2027 school year in the Middle School.

Educational Assistants will provide individual

student support in behavior and academics, as well as group assistance, for students. This is a

part-time position (Monday through Friday), up to 28 hours per week. Hours may vary based on

academic schedule, events, and student transportation needs.

Requirements: Candidates must hold a High School Diploma, enjoy working with children, and

have strong communication and conflict resolution skills. Candidates must meet physical

requirements for the position, including but not limited to lifting up to fifty pounds. A valid

driver's license is required as job duties may include transportation. The candidate must hold or

be eligible for licensure as a Special Education Program Aide by the Wisconsin Department of

Public Instruction. CPR certification or the willingness to become certified is also desired.
