• Job Title: Part Time - EMT Instructor
• Location: Lake County Campus - Clear Lake, CA
• Job Description: Lake County Campus of Woodland Community College is actively searching for a diverse pool of highly qualified candidates to fill part-time faculty Adjunct teaching positions. These opportunities are available on an ongoing basis to meet the evolving needs of the college. Prospective applicants can expect to be contacted and hired throughout the year in response to the institutions specific instructional requirements. The adjunct pools remain open year-round and are routinely refreshed every two years to ensure an updated and dynamic group of potential educators.

BASIC FUNCTION ----------------

Develop and deliver instructional lectures and laboratories for EMT courses up to 10 hours a week. Use appropriate teaching methods to facilitate student learning. Teach day evening and/or weekend teaching assignments, which may include distance learning, interactive television, online, and accelerated courses. Assess student learning outcomes every semester. Participate in department, division, and college-wide initiatives and committees, if desired. Provide timely feedback to students and post grades regularly. Respond to student communication in a timely manner.

• Required Qualifications:
• The successful candidate must possess the minimum qualifications stated below.
• Any Bachelors or higher degree and two years of experience in emergency medical technology and any certificates or licenses required to do that work.
• OR any Associate degree and six years of experience in emergency medical technology and any certificates or licenses required to do that work.
• OR the equivalent.

• The Yuba Community College District is seeking qualified candidates for this part-time temporary Adjunct faculty position. Part-time instructor positions are filled as needed through ongoing recruitment. Applicants are contacted and hired year-round based on college needs. This pool is open continuously and refreshed every two years.

Applicants in this pool will remain active for two years. After two years, applicants will receive an email with information on how to remain in the pool.
