Part-Time Evening RN Nurse Educator - Healthcare Workforce Training Institute
Every day is different as an RN Nurse Educator! In this role, you will help prepare and support the healthcare workforce through employee development, hands-on training, and state-approved CNA education programs. You will teach CNA courses, provide CPR instruction, and support ongoing clinical education initiatives for healthcare staff.
This position is ideal for an experienced nurse who enjoys teaching, mentoring, and helping others grow in their healthcare careers.
Schedule
- Part-time position: 20–26 hours per week
- Primarily evening hours from 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Monday–Thursday or based on instructor availability
- Classes primarily held in Eau Claire
- Occasional classes in Osseo and Chippewa Falls approximately every 6 months
Responsibilities
- Teach state-approved CNA training courses
- Provide CPR certification and renewal training
- Support employee development and clinical education programs
- Conduct skills competency checks and audits
- Assist with nursing department education and training initiatives
- Promote a positive and engaging learning environment
Required Qualifications
- Current Wisconsin RN license
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
- At least 1 year of experience in a long-term care facility or nursing home required
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Previous teaching or staff development experience preferred
