POSITION TITLE: PART-TIME EVEINING WELDING INSTRUCTOR
REPORTS TO: DEAN OF ACADEMICS
Do you have an Associate Degree in Welding or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience? Are you passionate about sharing your knowledge and helping others develop their welding skills? If so, Lamar Community College invites you to apply for our Part-Time Welding Instructor position.
Part-time instructors play a vital role in creating and maintaining a learning environment that supports student success. Under the direction of the Department Chair and Dean of Academics, instructors provide high-quality instruction and contribute to the educational mission of the College.
This position is anticipated to teach evening courses during the upcoming Fall and Spring semesters.

PAY RANGE: Starting at $710 per credit hour depending on degree and experience. Lamar Community College compensates instructional assignments on a per-credit basis, paid over the duration of the 15-week semester. Total compensation is determined by the number of credit hours taught, the selected candidate's qualifications, internal equity considerations, and relevant market data.
Employees in this position earn sick leave at a rate of one (1) hour for every thirty (30) hours worked.
