Position Summary:
The Extended Care Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children ages 3–12 during after-school hours. This role includes supervising playtime, assisting with homework or quiet activities, and maintaining a positive atmosphere that supports the school’s values and community.
Qualifications:
Experience working with children ages 3–12 in a classroom, childcare, or recreational setting
Virtus training (or willingness to complete upon hire)
High school diploma or higher education required
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Ability to maintain a safe and supportive environment for all students

This position has an annualized hourly salary range of $15.00 - $16.50. An employee’s pay within the hourly salary range will be based on many factors including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
