EDU 420 Field Experience and Seminar III (1 Credit)

78-hour field experience. Develop knowledge and skills to maximize students with disabilities' learning and focus candidate practice on teaching mathematics. Analyze student learning and reflect to shape their teacher identity and educational philosophy. Topic varies.
Prereq: EDU 320 Coreq: EDU 438 and SPE 434
Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants with experience supervising SU students in the field.

Supervise teacher candidates during a 78-hour field experience in Grades 1-3 classrooms.
Support candidates in developing inclusive, culturally responsive teaching practices.
