Part-Time Faculty: EEE 110: Discover the Entrepreneur Within (Fall 2026)

Whitman School of Management is seeking Part-Time Faculty for EEE 110, Discover the Entrepreneur Within, Fall 2026, In Person

Course description: Self-exploration of issues surrounding creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship (CIE) as they apply in all facets of life. Students apply their creative potential in various contexts, including a community-based social entrepreneurship project. Students must be enrolled in the Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Learning Community.

Qualifications

• Experience working with undergraduate students in an entrepreneurship center and/or teaching entrepreneurship.

Job Specific Qualifications

• Experience in teaching at the university-level is preferred.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Have an understanding and appreciation for the role of EEE in business
• Must be available and willing to teach on campus
• Must be available during existing course times that meet throughout the fall semester

Responsibilities

• Preparation of lectures, projects, and other student assignments, in collaboration with the EEE department
• Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours
• Presenting instruction based on the competencies and performance level of the course
• Meeting all designated class periods
• Submitting completed mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to university regulations and school/college-level policies
• Providing departmentally sanctioned form for completing student evaluations
• Grading student assignments and exams in timely manner
• Building a positive rapport with students and other faculty members
• Other responsibilities as indicated.
