Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support a Finance Division by processing financial transactions, maintaining financial records, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy and compliance. This role requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in spreadsheet software and financial systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting or finance, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to review, validate, and process financial documents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following:
- Completion of an undergraduate core program in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; OR
- Minimum of 6 months of experience or training in Accounting and/or Finance, including intermediate spreadsheet experience; OR
- Minimum of 30 months of experience or training in Accounting and/or Finance, including intermediate spreadsheet experience; OR
- Minimum of 12 months of experience as a Financial Associate; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, fiscal operations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or financial transaction processing
- Experience reviewing financial documents, invoices, requisitions, and coding information
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Experience using financial management systems, databases, or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a professional office environment
