Location: The Learning Experience – East Brunswick, NJ
Pay:$17–$18 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time, Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM


Part-Time Float Teacher – Support Learning Across Our School


The Learning Experience – East Brunswick is seeking a dependable and energetic Part-Time Float Teacher to join our afternoon team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety and loves working with children of different ages.


As a Float Teacher, you'll support Infant, Toddler, and Preschool classrooms during the busiest part of the day, helping ensure every child receives exceptional care and every classroom runs smoothly.


What You'll Do

• Provide classroom support for Infant, Toddler, and Preschool programs as needed
  
  
• Assist Lead Teachers with learning activities, transitions, playground time, and end-of-day routines
  
  
• Create a warm, safe, and engaging environment where children feel supported
  
  
• Help supervise children during indoor and outdoor play
  
  
• Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and safety
  
  
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators
  
  
• Follow all New Jersey licensing regulations and center policies
  
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
  
  
• Previous experience working with young children in a childcare, daycare, preschool, or school setting preferred
  
  
• Reliable, flexible, and comfortable working with multiple age groups
  
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
  
  
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
