As a Floral Merchandiser, you'll be instrumental in maintaining eye-catching floral displays that attract customers and increase sales. You'll work independently to ensure flowers are fresh, well-organized, and visually appealing, while collaborating with team members to support store operations and coverage at nearby locations when needed. Your efforts will help create a welcoming shopping atmosphere and uphold the stores high standards for floral presentation.
What You'll Do
As a Floral Merchandiser, you will be responsible for:
- Stocking, rotating, and organizing floral displays to ensure freshness and visual appeal.
- Processing incoming deliveries, including breaking down shipments and conditioning flowers through trimming, watering, and proper care.
- Maintaining a clean and sanitized workspace, including floral buckets and tools.
- Removing unsellable product and managing waste efficiently.
- Ensuring displays meet merchandising standards and making adjustments as necessary.
- Safely lifting and moving floral shipments and supplies.
- Providing support at other store locations when required, working independently and as part of a team.
- Assisting during peak floral seasons with increased hours around Valentines Day, Easter, Mothers Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
