Part-Time Focus Group Assistant (Multiple Locations – SC)

Pay: $20/hour
Schedule:
Day sessions: Approximately 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Evening sessions: Approximately 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Part-time / as-needed basis
About the Role
Derrick Law Firm is seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals to assist with legal focus group sessions across multiple South Carolina locations. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people and helping coordinate events in a professional environment. College and law school students are encouraged to apply, but all qualified candidates will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with setup and breakdown of focus group sessions
Welcome and check in participants
Coordinate materials, seating, and overall logistics
Help organize and distribute food and refreshments
Collect surveys and ensure all materials are completed and returned
Support the Focus Group Coordinator to ensure smooth event execution
Qualifications
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable interacting with groups of people
Ability to multitask and stay detail-oriented in a fast-paced setting
Reliable transportation to assigned locations
Availability for evening sessions required
Prior experience in event support, customer service, or administrative work is a plus
College or law school students are encouraged to apply
