Part-Time Glass Inspector
Flexible scheduling up to 28 hours
We are looking for dependable detail-oriented individuals to join our production team on a part-time basis. This role will focus on glass inspection quality control and general production support. Available shifts are on the weekends and in the evenings. Up to 28 hours per week with weekly paychecks.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect glass using check fixtures to verify all measurable specifications on and off the production line.
- Evaluate visual quality including surface condition edgework and sizing.
- Identify defects and pack glass according to established packaging guidelines.
- Rework glass when required to meet quality standards.
- Support daily production needs and adjust to workflow demands.
- Collect quality control data as needed.
- Maintain a clean orderly and safe work area.
- Assist with pattern changes and related production adjustments.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Reliable safety-minded and able to work independently
Physical Requirements Safety and Work Environment
- Work performed in typical manufacturing conditions including warm environments
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs
- Ability to push pull grip hand tools reach see hear and speak clearly
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must follow all posted security procedures and PPE requirements
Schedule & Hours
- Work up to 28 hours per week
- Ability and willingness to use the scheduling application on personal cell phone or computer
- Flexible hours within production needs
- $16.63 per hour
