About the Role


At Homewatch CareGivers of Charlotte & Mooresville, the Field Nurse (RN/LPN) provides clinical oversight and leadership to ensure safe, high-quality, client-centered in-home care. This role bridges families, caregivers, and our administrative care team—delivering timely assessments, clear direction, and measurable results across the Charlotte, Mooresville, and Lake Norman communities. As a clinical leader, you are empowered, appreciated, and trusted to make a difference.


Key Responsibilities

• Client Assessments & Care Planning: Conduct initial in-home client assessments, routine reassessments, and develop comprehensive, individualized care plans.
• Caregiver Supervision & Training: Provide clinical supervision, guidance, and hands-on training to caregivers, CNAs, and PCAs in the field.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure strict compliance with North Carolina state regulations, company policies, and clinical best practices.
• Condition Monitoring & Outcomes: Monitor client health outcomes and respond promptly to changes in client condition.
• Clinical Resource & Partnership: Serve as a trusted clinical resource for clients, families, and healthcare referral partners.
  
  

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN or LPN license in the state of North Carolina (Required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (Required)
• Home care, community health, or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills
• Organized, responsive, and comfortable working independently in a hybrid/field environment
