Part-Time HVAC Evening Teacher

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Southeastern Technical Institute is looking for a qualified candidate for our evening HVAC program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least five (5)

years of full-time employment directly related to HVAC. In addition candidates should

some combination of the following credentials:

• EPA Universal Certification

• OSHA Certified

• R410a Safety Training Certification

• MA State Oil Burner License

• MA State Refrigeration License

• MA State Sheet Metal License

• Experience installing and servicing:

• Hydronic heat

• Gas heat

• Light commercial refrigeration systems

• Experience fabricating and installing sheet metal

• Chapter 74 HVAC teaching license (preferred);

• Prior teaching or training experience (preferred); or

• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find acceptable and appropriate.
