Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their safety and comfort.
We are specifically looking for caregivers with morning availability, with start times between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM.
The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, particularly with seniors and individuals with disabilities, and possess strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Provide patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with medications as directed
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary needs
Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks
Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being
Observe and report changes in client conditions or behaviors to relevant healthcare professionals
Support clients with memory care, including those with Alzheimer’s or dementia
Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers when necessary
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining client confidentiality
Qualifications
Previous experience in home health care, assisted living, or long-term care settings preferred
First aid and CPR certification highly desirable
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus
Strong skills in patient observation, monitoring, and documentation
Ability to assist clients with mobility and perform physical tasks as needed
Familiarity with care plans and medication assistance protocols
Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families
Compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered approach to care
Certifications: CNA, HHA, or PCA required
