POSITION OVERVIEW

The Department of Music at Southwestern University invites applications for a Part-time Instructor/Assistant Professor of Applied Guitar beginning in August of 2026.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in Guitar Performance.
• History of excellence in guitar performance.
• Demonstrated success in private guitar instruction.

Salary: $55/hour (with the Master's degree in-hand by August 1); $60/hour (with the PhD in-hand by August 1).

This is a non-benefitted position.
