Part-time Instructor, Recreational Vehicle and Small Trailer Backing JobID: 964 Position Type: Part-time InstructionDate Posted: 8/27/2026Location: Broken Arrow Campus Additional Information: Show/HideJob Requirements:Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.Professional experience operating recreational vehicles and travel trailers.Available to teach a one-evening class once or twice a semester.Experience teaching adults preferred.Essential Functions:Provide instruction to adult students in the topic area of recreational vehicles and small trailer backing.Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and experience in the appropriate subject matter.Instruct students in competency-based program curriculum using current instructional strategies appropriate to the subject matter to assure highest quality classroom instruction.Effectively manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment.Maintain up-to-date records of student attendance, academic progress and grades as required by district policy and certification/regulatory agencies.Ensure syllabus, supply list and lesson plans are current prior to each class taught.Demonstrate effective people skills, communication skills and professionalism (i.e. prepared, reliable, responsible, punctual, etc.)Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the mission and goals of Tulsa Tech's ACD program.Participate in professional development opportunities as required by the ACD department.Perform all other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time.Education:High School Diploma or equivalentShift: EveningSalary Schedule:Standard rate schedule for non-regular (temporary, adjunct, substitute) and regular part-time employeesHiring Range:$35 per hourBenefits:N/APhysical Demands:This is an overview intended for compliance with the ADA it is not an exhaustive list of the duties to be performed.
