Job Summary As an IT Operations Specialist II, you will play a vital role in monitoring and operating server computer systems. You will be responsible for managing batch processing to ensure quality output to customers and users. Become a part of our dynamic team that is dedicated to helping one another.
Responsibilities
Operate, monitor, and control mainframe, midrange, and server computer systems, including all related printing equipment.
Responsible for operating and maintaining computer equipment, loading peripheral equipment (printers) with selected materials (paper/special forms & electronic media), and reporting any problems that arise to the shift supervisor.
Possess a working knowledge of systems that process on the shift, balancing of processed output, and distribution of printed reports.
Monitor mainframe and midrange systems and servers via remote terminal(s).
Attain a working understanding of console commands, operating system(s), 3rd party software, and Microsoft Office Products.
Qualifications
High school diploma required.
One year of experience within the same or similar environment.
Working knowledge of computer equipment and peripherals.
Reliable, dependable, and have a positive attitude.
