Part-Time Kitchen Staff

Position Overview:

This position is a part-time food service support role focused on preparing and serving nutritious meals to

students and staff while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. The kitchen staff

member will work closely with the cafeteria team to ensure high-quality meal service and excellent

customer care for all students.

Rate of Pay: Starting at $13.80/hour (or based on experience), approximately 28.75 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation, serving, and meal distribution.
• Follow established food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, food preparation areas, serving lines, and dining spaces.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food and supplies.
• Provide friendly and professional service to students, staff, and visitors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or administration.

Qualifications:

o High school diploma or equivalent.

o Previous food service or customer service experience preferred but not required.

o Ability to work effectively as part of a team; strong communication skills.

o Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

o Ability to lift, carry, and move food supplies and equipment as needed.

o Must be able to pass a background check.
