The Occupational Therapy Lab Facilitator will attend lab sessions as a knowledgeable assistant to the instructor. The Lab Facilitator will assist students in their learning of the lab course content through hands-on supportive instruction as guided by the instructor and provide perspectives on the application of concepts learned to occupational therapy practice. The Lab Facilitator may also assist in evaluation of student performance ie. practicums. This position is an hourly position with an expectation of no more than 8 hours per week of paid time.

Basic Responsibilities
Attend lab sessions as directed by the Instructor.
Interact with students during learning activities providing feedback and guidance to their learning.
Share clinical experiences with students and work to highlight the relevance of their learning to occupational therapy practice

Qualifications:
Professional
Licensed occupational therapy practitioner.
Experience as a practicing occupational therapist
Evidence of continued education and development of expertise in related practice area
Evidence of current professional practice in related practice area
Personal
Ability to communicate well with others.
Supportive approach to teaching.
Willingness to share personal professional experiences.
Serve as an assistant to the Instructor and follow the instructor's lead
Physical Demands
Assist the Instructor in setting up supplies and equipment for the day's lesson.
Assist in field settings.
