    Laborist (OB/GYN) | Per Diem

    Location: Seattle Metro Area, Washington

    A well-established, not-for-profit healthcare system in the Seattle Metro Area is seeking a Per Diem Laborist (MD/DO) to join its Women's Health team. This is an excellent opportunity for an OB/GYN physician seeking flexible scheduling while practicing in a collaborative hospital-based environment with strong specialty support and modern labor and delivery resources.

    Compensation

    • Up to $2,220 per shift
    • Per diem schedule with flexible shift availability
    • Opportunity to supplement an existing practice or maintain a flexible work schedule

    Position Overview

    • Provide hospital-based obstetrical care and laborist coverage
    • Manage labor and delivery patients, including vaginal and cesarean deliveries
    • Evaluate and manage obstetric triage patients and emergency consultations
    • Collaborate with community OB/GYN physicians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, anesthesiologists, and neonatal teams
    • Provide gynecologic emergency coverage as needed
    • Support patient safety and quality initiatives within the Women's Health program
    • Utilize EPIC EMR and integrated clinical workflows

    This opportunity offers the ability to focus on inpatient obstetrical care while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team in a supportive and patient-centered environment.

    Qualifications

    • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
    • Eligible for Washington State medical license
    • Active or eligible DEA registration
    • Current obstetrical privileges or recent labor and delivery experience preferred
    • Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based women's healthcare
