Summary: The Leasing Consultant plays a pivotal role in converting telephone and walk-in prospects into leases, thereby maintaining and increasing occupancy levels. This position requires effective communication with existing residents and the establishment of a successful renewal program to ensure high resident retention.
Responsibilities:
- Convert telephone and walk-in prospects into leases to maintain and increase occupancy.
- Communicate effectively with existing residents to address their needs and concerns.
- Establish and manage a successful lease renewal program.
- Conduct property tours for prospective residents highlighting key amenities and features.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of lease agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of all leasing-related activities and resident interactions.
- Collaborate with the property management team to achieve occupancy goals.
Required skills:
- Proven experience in a leasing or similar customer service role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.
- Familiarity with property management software is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in real estate or sales are advantageous.
