General Summary This position is for Part-Time Lecturers for the ME, MET, EECE, CIVE, CEET, and PDET programs in the School of Engineering for Summer/Fall 2026.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities Teaching may include a number of particular obligations that employees are expected to fulfill, including but not limited to:

• In-person meetings with students
• Assessing student work and performance
• Assessment as required for ABET accreditation
• Preparing syllabus and course materials
• Providing copies of syllabus and course materials to their supervisor on request
• Assigning and submitting grades in accordance with established Eastern Michigan University schedules and policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in ME, MET, EECE, CEET, CIVE, or PDET or in a related discipline in the School of Engineering.
2. College-level teaching experience and industrial experience.
