LVN Job Responsibilities- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and care plans
- Monitor patient health status and report changes to the RN or physician
- Provide skilled nursing care to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
- Perform wound care, injections, catheter care, and other clinical procedures within LVN scope of practice
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR
- Supervise and delegate tasks to CNAs and support staff as appropriate
- Ensure compliance with California nursing regulations and facility policies
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining resident dignity
Education & Certification Requirements- Active California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum one year of nursing experience preferred (skilled nursing or long-term care strongly preferred)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
