About the Role:
We're seeking a motivated and skilled Part-Time Life Sciences Tutor to support students in life science courses and related disciplines. This position involves providing in-person and virtual tutoring in a welcoming, inclusive environment that fosters academic growth. The role includes 1-on-1 tutoring in life sciences courses, leading group tutoring and study sessions, exam review, and TEAS bootcamp. An ideal candidate will have experience with life science education at the high-school and early college level, strong customer service skills and a passion for helping students succeed.
TRIO Student Support Services at Ivy Tech Indianapolis is searching for a part-time tutor in Life Sciences. TRIO SSS is a federally funded program that serves students who are low income, first generation and/or have documented disabilities, to help them persist and succeed in completing their degree.
This position is limited to 10 hours per week for 30 weeks during the 2026-2027 academic year. Availability may include in-person, virtual, and weekend hours based on program and student needs.
