LeafSpring School is seeking an energetic, responsible, and safety-focused Part-Time Lifeguard to join our Summer Camp team! Our summer program provides children with a fun, engaging, and active environment, and our lifeguards play a critical role in ensuring campers enjoy water activities safely.

Position Summary
The Part-Time Lifeguard is responsible for supervising campers during swim activities, enforcing pool safety rules, responding to emergencies, and helping create a fun and safe camp experience for all children.
Responsibilities
- Monitor swimmers and maintain a safe swimming environment at all times
- Enforce all pool and water safety rules
- Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies and administer first aid/CPR when needed
- Conduct routine safety checks of pool areas and equipment
- Assist camp staff with camper supervision during pool transitions
- Build positive relationships with campers, families, and team members
- Maintain a professional, alert, and positive attitude throughout each shift
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Current Lifeguard Certification required
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required
- Previous experience working with children preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain alert and respond calmly in emergency situations
Schedule
- Part-Time Seasonal Position
- Summer Camp Hours: Monday–Friday
- Flexible shifts available based on pool schedule and camp needs
