Part-time Literacy Teacher Instructional Coach (Grades 5 - 12)

The Part-time Literacy Teacher Instructional Coach will play a critical role in partnering with teachers to ensure effective student-centered literacy instruction and increase student achievement. This position requires a deep commitment to access to an empowering education, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making aligned with school and district instructional improvement priorities. The ideal candidate will possess strong instructional leadership and coaching skills, expertise in adolescent (grades 5 - 12) Literacy, and a passion for student achievement by supporting the professional growth of educators. The Coach will support up to 30 literacy teachers across two Camden campuses — Camden's Promise Middle School and Camden Academy Charter High School — with a particular focus on strengthening instruction for striving readers, multilingual learners, and students with disabilities. The Part-time Literacy Teacher Instructional Coach will report to the MD, Partner Experience and Impact, and work alongside peer coaches.
This is a fixed-term W2 role, and is anticipated to work 20 - 25 hours per week. Hours may vary slightly based on partner needs, coaching cadence, and school schedules. Renewal of the role aligns with district renewals, scope of work, and organizational priorities.
This role requires frequent travel to Camden City schools. The Part-time Coach should expect to spend approximately 60-70% of their time on site in schools.

Serve as a grades 5 - 12 Literacy instructional coach for teachers at Camden's Promise Middle School and Camden Academy Charter High School

The salary range for this position is between $80,376.00 - $120,564.00. New hires will start between the range minimum and midpoint ($80,376.00- $100,470.00) based on qualifications assessed during the hiring process, past experience, and internal equity.
