Loan Servicing Specialist - Part-time (Hybrid - Columbia, SC)

The Part-Time Loan Servicing Specialist will support the servicing of widely participated and syndicated transactions in the Bank's Capital Markets portfolio. This includes pre-booking large multi-facility relationships in ACBS, processing changes to credit risk management fields and DCM actions in a timely and accurate manner, coordinating smooth and timely closings, communicating with numerous internal and external counterparts, providing excellent customer service to both district and non-district investors, completing and verifying multi-currency administrative detail forms, maintaining complete and accurate electronic borrower files, and collecting past-due loan documentation.

What You'll Do

• Assist with the accurate and timely pre-booking of large multi-facility relationships in the Bank's Capital Markets portfolio.
• Assist with updating key credit risk management fields such as PD, LGD, Involvement in Farming, Loan Type, and Reputation Risk as needed, and processing Distressed Credit Modification actions to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with verifying commitments, maturity dates, and key credit risk management fields following renewals and refinances.
• Assist with projects to update the loan system when the need for new ACBS codes is determined.
• Assist with smooth and timely closings by communicating with both internal and external counterparts, which includes tracking and distributing loan information and documentation through the origination process and reviewing legal and financial documentation.
• Ensure Legal, Participation Operations, and Lending Division personnel have the necessary documentation to process the closing.
• Assist with post-closing activities associated with assigned credits purchased and sold by AgFirst, including the collection of documents for approval conditions.
• Assist with collecting, completing, and verifying administrative detail forms for both domestic and foreign currencies to ensure timely and accurate funding.
• Responsible for the maintenance of complete and accurate electronic borrower files that allow Lending Division personnel and internal and external auditors to readily locate all filed documentation, including credit memos, financial statements, and loan documents.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or the equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of experience working with loan documentation or similar administrative functions.
• Capable of working independently and with little supervision.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, CRM and ACBS applications and other applicable software. Includes proficiency in creating Excel spreadsheets.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments within tight deadlines.
