We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to support day-to-day upkeep and repairs across our facility. This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining a safe and clean environment, and can contribute to a well-functioning workplace through consistent support and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks throughout the facility
- Support minor repairs, basic troubleshooting, and general upkeep
- Help maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Perform scheduled inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Replace light bulbs, filters, and other common materials as needed
- Move, set up, or adjust equipment and furnishings as requested
- Work with team members to complete assigned maintenance projects
- Follow safety procedures and help ensure compliance with workplace standards
- Document completed tasks and communicate outstanding issues clearly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in maintenance, facilities support, or a related hands-on role is preferred
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or general repair work is helpful
- Ability to use common hand tools and follow instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Good communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift, carry, bend, stand, and perform routine manual tasks
- Dependable, flexible, and willing to learn new tasks
Preferred Skills
- Experience with preventative maintenance
- Familiarity with basic building systems and equipment
- Prior experience supporting grounds or custodial tasks
- Comfort using maintenance logs or work order systems
