Part-Time Maintenance Technician

Bold Virtue Management runs two apartment communities in Brenham, 53 units between them. We’re hiring one part-time maintenance tech to help with both.

What you’ll do

•      General repairs: plumbing, electrical, drywall, doors, locks, appliances

•      HVAC troubleshooting and repair: capacitors, contactors, blower motors, condensate lines, diagnosing a unit that isn’t cooling

•      Unit turns, punch work, paint touch-up

•      Work orders come to your phone through Buildium

•      Light grounds and common area upkeep

•      On-call for after-hours emergencies, paid separately

What we’re looking for

•      Two years of hands-on maintenance. Apartment experience helps

•      Your own hand tools and a reliable vehicle

•      You live in Brenham or close enough to get on site fast

•      Comfortable using a smartphone for work orders

•      EPA 608 certification, or willing to test for it in your first 90 days. We’ll pay for it

Pay and schedule

•      W-2 employee, $18 to $24 per hour depending on experience

•      16 hours guaranteed every week, flexible on which days

•      On-call pay on top of the hourly

•      Paid every other Friday

•      Background check before you start
