Part-Time Middle School Math And Science Teacher

Challenger School is seeking enthusiastic, intelligent individuals to join the middle school teams at our Austin campuses as a part-time teacher - could become a full-time position with training included. As a teacher at Challenger, you will teach individual responsibility, self-confidence, and independence alongside science and math. Our classes are fast paced, fun, and have a proven curriculum already in place. Specific teaching degrees and certificates are not required to teach at Challenger School.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly learn Challenger's curriculum, teaching methods, and philosophyMaintain a safe and productive classroom environmentPrepare lesson plans and teach daily classesGrade daily student homework assignmentsConsistently attend required training and teaching daysCommunicate regularly with parents and administrators on student progressWork patiently with students, parents, and coworkers

Qualifications

4-year college bachelor's degree or equivalentAbility to pass a background checkCompletion of pre-employment assessments
