The School District of Beloit Turner is seeking applicants for a part-time (up to 50%) Music teacher starting with the 2026-2027 school year. This position will mostly serve Powers Elementary School teaching kindergarten and 1st grade general music with the possibility of also having a section at Turner Middle School teaching 6th grade music. Schedule/extent of contract is flexible and will be determined based on the applicant's skill-set, experience, and best-fit for the applicant and district. There are now multiple ways to obtain licensure or add-on license areas; therefore, all interested candidates are encouraged to apply.
Important note for experienced educators: Professional Educators may be eligible for sick leave transfer based on years of experience and accumulated leave with a current district.

We are a small to midsize sub-urban/rural setting with 3 main campuses. Powers Elementary serves our early grades (EC and 4K-1st). Garden Prairie Intermediate School serves grades 2 through 5. Our middle school and high school have a shared main campus serving grades 6-8 in Turner Middle School and grades 9-12 in the Turner High School.
