This is a long-term opportunity for a dedicated childcare professional who enjoys engaging toddlers in age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, development, and fun.
Job Deatails:
- Location: Austin, TX 78727
- Start Date: ASAP
- Compensation: $37–$40 per hour DOE
- Commitment: 12-Month Contract
Schedule: Part-Time
- 3 flexible weekdays
- 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- 24 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and loving care for a 2-year-old child
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate educational and developmental activities
- Encourage learning through play and support developmental milestones
- Keep the child active through outdoor play, creative activities, and exploration
- Prepare simple meals and snacks for the child
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment related to the child
- Follow established routines and communicate effectively with parents
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional childcare or nanny experience
- Experience caring for toddlers and supporting developmental growth
- Energetic, patient, and proactive caregiver
- Reliable transportation and excellent punctuality
- Comfortable around pets (family has one German Shepherd)
- CPR/First Aid certification Required
