Part-Time Cafeteria Worker Reports to Building Principal & Food Service Director Reporting to Food Service Director To assist with a variety of cooking, preparing, and serving of food items for general consumption by students and school personnel in a food safe environment. To maintain facilities and equipment in safe and sanitary condition, and to maintain a clean and safe work area. Sufficient ability to read and write in English, and communicate effectively. Sufficient dexterity to use kitchen equipment. Sufficient strength to lift, move, and carry heavy objects - a maximum of 40 pounds. Must be able to tolerate extreme cold temperatures and extreme hot temperatures. Ability to travel between schools as needed. Physical, mental, and emotional stamina to endure fast paced conditions. Basic kitchen operations and food preparation. Basic mathematical computations. This is a 3.5 hour/day position.
