    Description

    Position Summary

    The Nurse Practitioner (Family or Adult-Gerontology) provides on-site primary care services, delivering comprehensive care. This role is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating acute and chronic conditions, performing routine and emergency medical care, and managing ongoing patient health in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO). The Nurse Practitioner will conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and coordinate specialty care as needed, all while adhering to established clinical protocols and regulatory standards. This position also plays a key role in documenting patient care, supporting quality initiatives, and ensuring continuity of care within the facility.


    Requirements

    • Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Ohio (Family or Adult-Gerontology)
    • Minimum of 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience in primary care or hospital medicine
    • Current BLS/CPR certification (healthcare provider level)
    • Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
    • Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration (required for assignment)
    • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills within scope of practice
    • Ability to work independently in a structured, fast-paced environment
