Position Summary
National University's School of Health Professions, Part-Time Nursing Lab Instructor provides a safe, structured, and controlled environment in which students can develop and practice essential nursing skills prior to delivering care to live patients. These experiential learning opportunities promote critical thinking, clinical judgement, psychomotor skill development, and professional communication while reinforcing theoretical concepts introduced in didactic coursework. The Nursing Lab Instructor plays a key role in facilitating hands-on learning activities that allow students to understand, perform, and progressively refine professional nursing competencies appropriate to their level within the program. Responsibilities include supervising skills lab sessions, assisting with simulation implementation, providing real-time formative feedback, supporting skills validation and remediation, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards. This role offers an opportunity to directly impact student readiness for clinical practice while contributing to a collaborative academic environment focused on excellence in nursing education.

The minimum salary will be offered based on the minimum exemption threshold based on state of residency.
