Office Assistant – Licensing Specialist (Security Industry) Location: Hillsborough, NJ Employment Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $20/hr
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to support our growing security company by managing all licensing and registration requirements. This position is focused exclusively on obtaining, renewing, and maintaining company licenses and permits necessary for security operations in multiple states.
Responsibilities:
Research licensing requirements for security companies across various states and municipalities.
Prepare, submit, and track license applications, renewals, and related documentation.
Communicate with state agencies, regulatory boards, and government offices regarding licensing matters.
Maintain accurate records of licenses, renewal dates, and compliance deadlines.
Collect and organize required business documents, insurance certificates, and supporting materials.
Monitor regulatory changes and ensure company compliance with licensing requirements.
Provide status updates and reports to management.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and applications simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and online government portals.
Previous administrative, compliance, licensing, or office support experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently.
