We're currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Accounting Clerk to support our accounting operations.

Position Summary:
The Part-Time Accounting Clerk will perform a variety of accounting and administrative duties to support our business office. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and post accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Reconcile daily cash, checks, and credit card payments
• Assist with month-end closing and journal entries
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies
• Provide administrative support to the Controller and the office team

Qualifications:

• Prior accounting or bookkeeping experience required; automotive dealership experience is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, Dealertrack, or similar preferred)
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred

Work Schedule:

• 20–25 hours per week
• Flexible schedule available Monday–Friday during business hours
