Job Overview

A Handyman is responsible for maintaining and repairing the facilities and equipment used in the operations of a facility. They work with various tools and perform tasks such as electrical and plumbing repairs, HVAC maintenance, and equipment inspections.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and diagnose problems
• Performing electrical repairs and maintenance
• Performing plumbing repairs and maintenance
• Performing HVAC maintenance and repairs
• Performing carpentry work on buildings and equipment as required
• Performing handyman services
• Ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained according to safety regulations and standards

Working Conditions

Facility Technicians work in various settings, including offices, manufacturing facilities, and warehouses and other businesses. They may work indoors or outdoors, and may be required to work in confined spaces or at heights. They may also be required to work on call, evenings, and weekends.
